Equipment Financing

The Oklahoma Environmental Management Authority will accept Financing Proposals until 11:00 AM, FRIDAY, December 6, 2024, for the following:

We are accepting financing proposals for lease-purchase financing, with a $1 lease-end buyout, for the compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles listed below.  Interest on the lease will not be excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes. Interest on the lease is exempt from State of Oklahoma income tax.

The following CNG vehicles may qualify for state and/or federal tax credits under a lease-purchase agreement.  OEMA makes no representation concerning the qualification for, or availability of, tax credits.  It is the bidder’s responsibility to make this determination. All lease documentation will be prepared by The Public Finance Law Group PLLC (“PFLG”) and PFLG will provide a bond counsel opinion with respect to the transaction. The lease documentation will  include a governmental non-appropriations clause.

We request that you submit a proposal for an eight-year (96 months) amortization. Also please indicate if there are any prepayment penalties with respect to the financing.

 

FINANCING OF

New Front Load Truck – CNG (#1)

Amount to be financed is $515,409.00

 

New Side Load Truck - CNG (#2)

Amount to be financed is $528,943.00

 

The total amount to be financed is $1,044,352 and shall be financed as a single transaction.

 

Proposals should include the following: amortization schedules, number of payments, payment timing, payment amount, total amount funded and annual percentage rate. Sealed envelopes must be marked on front: FINANCING BID FOR NEW CNG COLLECTION TRUCKS 12-06-24.

The Oklahoma Environmental Management Authority reserves the right to accept any alternate bids, or to reject any and all bids, whichever is in the best interest of the Oklahoma Environmental Management Authority.
